FINALLY!!! We felt Anaston kick! Both of us the same day! :) I thought I had felt the baby kick Saturday night, but wasn't sure, since it was only by my hand, but then last night, (Sunday), I was going to bed and I told Andrew to feel my belly b/c she was so low & I told him to keep his hand there b/c I figured she would end up kicking possibly. Well, not long after his hand had been there... THUMP! There she was! :)
It's such an amazing feeling! I've been feeling her throughout the day at times as well :) Thank you, baby girl! I've been waiting for what seems forever to feel a kick besides just little flutters here and there :) Not to also mention that I really wanted Andrew to be able to feel her the same time I did. Yes, I've felt flutters, but I REALLY wanted him to feel kicks when I felt them too, and I'm so glad it worked out that way!
Something super cute that Andrew said the other day... I have to write about it so Anaston can read this one day. We were both on the couch and he laid his head by my belly and started talking. He said, "Baby Girl.... Daddy already loves you very much!" That was the sweetest thing that I've ever heard and I don't think he noticed but I had tears rolling out of my eyes b/c of how much it touched me.
I thank God so much for allowing Andrew & I to have this baby together and I'm so fortunate that God let me meet such an amazing man. I look forward to so much with him by my side, and I know we can get through anything that comes our way.

20 WEEKS!!! HALFWAY THERE!!!! :) :) :)
I meant to write on here yesterday, but work was so busy. But... WE MADE IT TO THE HALFWAY MARK!!!! YAY!!!!
I'm sooo excited that we are finally at 20 weeks. It seems like yesterday that I was saying to myself, "Man... I'm so sick and only 7 weeks... I'll never make it to 20 weeks"... well, here I am, self! :) We made it!!!
Yesterday was as if I couldn't get enough food. I was constantly snacking on things left and right! Andrew was happy about that though. I had lost 10 lbs from my initial weight at my 1st pre-natal appt with being in the hospital and everything and throwing up so much from the hyperemesis. So far I've only gained 1 lb back when I was at the doctor at my 19w appt. Maybe this 2nd trimester will be the one where I start to get more of a belly, but I guess if I continue to stay small, I'll still be happy :)
I can't believe that we are even closer to meeting our sweet girl. I think about her all the time... who she will look like, who she will act like... whose mannerisms she will copy from... I definitely think she will be goofy like her Daddy. :) We were talking about Anaston doing little dances when she was a little older. Oh man, Andrew & I are going to have so much fun with her!
Unfortunately since my placenta is anterior, I still haven't been able to feel her "KICK" me yet. It is pretty frustrating when others that aren't as far along as me already feel their babies and here I am... healthy baby and no kicks yet... just the flutters. (I know one day I'll probably be on here complaining about how she kicks me too much) Or maybe I will just have a chill baby :) That would be nice too :)
Speaking of flutters, I could just feel them a little while talking about them. She's on my left side a lot. Oh sweet girl.. you're going to be here before we know it and I can't wait!!!

It's A Girl!!
Well, you all know that our sweet baby is a girl! :) I am ecstatic beyond words to be having a sweet Princess even though I have a feeling she will be a major Daddy's Girl. We are obviously naming her Anaston Grace. I fell in love with the name before we were pregnant and it's stuck for sure for this little miss. :)
I'm finally going to be taking weekly belly pics to post since I'm already almost halfway there (19w2d) as of today so I figured it would be nice to go ahead and start a blog so I can have this started already before she gets here.
Here's the announcement I made to announce we were having a Princess!!!
